Belated discovery that the great man has died. Survived a Nazi death march, and was inspired by it to write one of his most important early works. Still have in on vinyl, as well as some of his “Ou” collection.
He made a huge impact on my own thinking about poetry and music, and on so many others who have been more influential!

I am so sorry to hear of Henri Chopin’s passing. I first came across his delightful work in the 60’s and, although I could not hear it again until I found out about UBUWEB two and a half years ago, it had a lasting effect on me.It was wonderful to hear his work again through UBUWEB. My condolence.
But shocked. Just on the 2nd of January 2008 discovered this name for myself in the internet and was inspired with Mr. Chopin’s individuality and genius and that he is alive. And today such news on your site!
Wanted to ask him about the painting. This abstract painting named Harmony is signed Chopin ‘92.
Was it he?…..

Tu m’as enlever toute hésitation sur le chemin à suivre, ne jamais être tolérant à l’égard de soi-même.
