Almost fifty
years ago
four men
came together
to take a 
photograph.

They were not 
ordinary men.
Each was 
extraordinary 
and exhibited
that excellence
in performance
and exhibit.

Our country is
still blessed
by these four
who set standards
for all of us.

Today, the last 
of the four died
and not surprisingly,
the most athletic.

Tomorrow others
will think about
another picture.

Civilization and 
culture are made
so much more
by these signal
individuals.
