Patio, deck, porch–which sounds least like I am John Cheever?

All is forgiven.

I am trying to figure out why this blog is supposed to be interesting. So the writer has requisite means to leave her NYC home for the Cape where she has a second home provided for her by her parents who provide her with her first home. Okay. So what?

Oh, that giant Mary Oliver piece. My dad not only clipped it out and saved it for me but also photocopied it AND sent a link for me to read it. I felt so terrible telling him I think her poetry is just dreadful. Or maybe I flaunted it in his face like the spiteful daughter I am.

I love this. Thanks, Rebecca. I also love Cape Cod. Hope to get there again before the summer is over.

Very summery, Rebecca. Thanks. Just went out to Cape Cod for the first time this July and was enthralled. After hearing about the place all my life it was cool to finally see. In Iowa growing up, a rich kid friend of mine went out every summer and came back with salt water taffy and (once) Mike Greenwell's autograph. Jealous!

This go-round I didn't get any autographs but still felt pretty fizzy and excited about the whole thing. Returned very chatty like someone going on and on about coffee--Have you tried this stuff! It's AMAZING!!! I'm so AWAKE!!!! Friends=lots of shrugs. Yep, Cape Cod is great. Provincetown (or Provencetown), too. Where've you been?

Not there, I guess.

Anyways, your post made me think of this:

Good or bad for Provincetown, I wonder?
