Astronaut Ode Inserted into Congressional Record
According to this Washington Post article, Albert Carey Caswell, “a longtime member of the Capitol guide service, (who) has been contributing dozens of poems to the official record of Congress for years,” is at it again, this time penning an ode to John Glenn, Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins:
Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) officially submitted Caswell’s latest poem. A Ryan spokesman tells us his boss appreciates Caswell’s poetic tradition, and that he feels a special home-state connection to the poem’s subjects, Buckeye State natives Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
