Je Vous Attends: ANCIENTS Is Composed Entirely of the Previously Published
Not sure if you’ve yet laid eyes on any issues of the online magazine, for lack of better words, ANCIENTS, which takes for its constraint a simple linking to previously published work (much of which is in translation); but do. A gorgeous curation ensues–all poems, it seems, published in the last five years. As its editor writes of the recent Ancients, which includes among its 51, Macgregor Card, Leopoldine Core, Lidija Dimkovska, Matthew Henriksen, Amelia Rosselli, Dot Devota, Nick Twemlow, Chus Pato, Lynn Xu, Genya Turovskaya, Lucas de Lima, and Dorothea Lasky:
Issue # Zero.Fall is composed entirely of links to the previously published writings, videos, and/or translations of fifty-one poets and/or translators, with all thanks to the original venues for introducing this work. (SEE ALSO: Ancients Issue # Zero and Issue # Japan. The first print issue of ANCIENTS—feat. new and original poems, sketches, notes, translations, recitations and songs—is now in the works).
All issues can be found here.
