The Book As Creative Space

If you’re in Chicago on Saturday and want to delve deeply into the creative space of The Book, head over to The Annex at Spudnik Press. This is the first in a number of one-day workshops that bring together experimental writing practices and printing/book-making. About the workshop:

What makes a book? Is it the number of pages or chapters, the genre, or is it something else altogether? What is the space of a book; how do we inhabit or populate it? In this workshop we will look at and discuss the book as creative space, then create small book spaces to inhabit and populate with text, image, or other sundries.
