Sea-Wash

By Carl Sandburg 1878–1967 Carl Sandburg
The sea-wash never ends.
The sea-wash repeats, repeats.
Only old songs? Is that all the sea knows?
             Only the old strong songs?
             Is that all?
The sea-wash repeats, repeats.
