Letter from Poetry Magazine

Letter to the Editor

by Victoria Chang
Dear Editor,

I must admit, I was initially perplexed by your poetry reviews by fiction writers (September, 2004). However, when I began reading the reviews, especially the ones on Henri Cole and Alice Fulton, I realized you are far more brilliant and visionary than I am. Fiction writers do not have a stake in the poetry business, and will likely be more honest. Superb out-of-the-box thinking. Keep it up.
