Letter from Poetry Magazine

Letter to the Editor

by Tina Schumann

Dear Editor,

O Julian, Julian, Julian — you had me at muffin. I am going straight out and purchasing your latest collection after I stop typing this love letter. If the poems contained within are half as entertaining as “The Gargantuan Muffin Beauty Contest” I am going to be one satisfied reader. Kudos to the editors of Poetry for realizing that poetry does not have to be that serious all the time.

So long and thanks for all the muffins.
