In a Chicago segment of the Poetry Society of America's 2013 national series, distinguished poets and writers Quraysh Ali Lansana, Rosellen Brown, Kwame Dawes, Haki Madhubuti, Dipika Mukherjee, and Ed Roberson offer illuminating presentations on major twentieth century figures. Join the Poetry Foundation and the Poetry Society of America for a reading and discussion of the work and influence of Lucille Clifton, June Jordan, Gwendolyn Brooks, Kamau Brathwaite, and others.
