Forms & Features at the Smart Museum of Art: Daughters of the Revolution: 100 Years of Russian Posters and Poetry
In this two-part program presented in collaboration with the Smart Museum of Art, we investigate the extraordinary work of women artists and writers from the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 to 2017.
Part I features a tour of Soviet posters from the 1920s and 1930s on view in the exhibition Revolution Every Day at the Smart Museum of Art as well as a hands-on poster-making workshop.
For Part II, we will reconvene at the Poetry Foundation for a special Forms & Features poetry workshop and discussion dedicated to the work of Russian women poets.
Free, but space is limited. Participants are asked to attend both sessions. Registration opens October 1.
