Santa Fe Spoken Word Club Explores Indian Identity, History

The students who comprise the Spoken Word Club at the Santa Fe Indian School in New Mexico are storytellers who use poetry to explore the unique particularities of growing up Native American.  Through verse, the high school aged students are able to assert identities both modern and traditional.
