Why ? I ask myself,
Is not life just sitting on a shelf?
When we separate from our mothers,
What makes you different from all others?
You are not the same as they,
You do not hold life at bay,
With your comings and your goings,
The seeds of happiness you are sowing,
Bear no complaint; No malice that I can see,
Of all those negatives you are free.
Why I ask myself ??
When I take a different path,
Do you vent no wrath
Not once do you offend.
From your path, you do not bend,
Your a light, unblemished from afar!
I cherish the person that you are.

What a pleasure to sit and listen to these readers of
some of my favorite love poems. Sets me dreaming. Thank
you! And thanks to all of them.
