Cecily Nicholson
Cecily Nicholson is the author of Triage (Talonbooks, 2011) and From the Poplars (Talonbooks, 2014), winner of the 2015 Dorothy Livesay Prize for Poetry. She earned her MA from the University of Notre Dame. Her work, both creative and social, is often in collaboration with artists and educators. Nicholson contributed to Anamnesia: Unforgetting (VIVO Media Arts, 2012). She is the administrator of the artist-run centre, Gallery Gachet, and since 2000 has worked in the Downtown Eastside neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh territories.
