David Browne is a journalist and author based in New York. He is the author of Dream Brother: The Lives and Music of Jeff and Tim Buckley (HarperCollins) and Amped: How Big Air, Big Dollars and a New Generation Took Sports to the Extreme (Bloomsbury). His articles and reviews have appeared in Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, Spin, and other outlets, and he contributes music reviews to National Public Radio's website.
