Esther Lee

Esther Lee earned a BFA from Florida State University, an MFA from Indiana University, and a PhD from the University of Utah. Her first book of poems, Spit (2010), won an Elixir Press Poetry Prize, and she is the author of the chapbook Blank Missives (2007). Her poems and prose have appeared in journals such as Hyphen, Ploughshares, and Verse Daily. Lee’s honors and awards include an Elinor Benedict Poetry Prize, a Snowcroft Prose Prize, and a Utah Writer’s Contest Award for Poetry. She teaches at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, Georgia.
