All this time, while you thought our good ‘ol peanut-farming former president Jimmy Carter was using his powers for good to help children in poverty, he was actually writing saucy poetry. At least, that’s how the folks at Wonkette interpret his collection of poetry, Always a Reckoning and Other Poems. Perhaps the seemingly earnest as apple pie poems are really “allegories about deviant sex.” Jimmy! We never knew.
