The 10,000 Page Poetry Marathon

Some marathons are measured in pages, not miles. Dave Morice, creator of "Dr. Alphabet" and Poetry Marathons, will attempt to write 100 pages of poetry a day for 100 days. By Halloween, Morice hopes to have complied "Poetry City Marathon," 10,000 pages devoted to stories about Iowa City.

"This changes the whole way of poetry," Morice said. "I'm hoping people will see there's a lot of different things poetry can do."
