Sometimes one runs across a really terrific digital poem. For example, Brian Kim Stefans' rendering of Robert Creeley's "I know a man" one letter at a time is a really terrific digital poem. Stefans knows how to eschew the digital virtuosity that mires some tech-geek art, and instead opts for graceful conceptual simplicity. This piece consists of single black letters moving against a white background, and anything more would have been too much. Like the original poem itself, it speeds towards a conclusion which comes so abruptly, one can only return to the beginning, to "read" it again.
