LA Stories
For those of you in sunny LA, Les Figues press is hosting audio tours of the Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions space. The tours were written collaboratively and are downloadable from the Les Figues site. Just pop ‘em into your iPod and drop on by:
The Explanation as Composition audio tours offer six narrative experiences of the LACE exhibition space. The audio tour texts were written, in part, during a collaborative social writing event which included fifteen writers: Amanda Ackerman, Harold Abramowitz, Kate Durbin, Sarah Shun-lien Bynum, Teresa Carmody, Aimee Bender, Allison Carter, Mark Z. Danielewski, Carribean Fragoza, Veronica Gonzalez, Janice Lee, Harryette Mullen, Janet Sarbanes, Anna Joy Springer, and Stephen Van Dyck.
Gallery visitors can choose which narrative they will experience: story, geography, ekphrasis, provenance, nature, or confession.
Take your pick!
