You Are Invited to LUNGFULL! Mag’s Annual Throwdown
Have you read LUNGFULL! magazine? It’s spill-proof, so you can even multi-task (bath-time?). Actually this isn’t about reading at all; it’s about a social gathering, which a handful of poets, like four or five we’re sure, tend to begrudgingly consider a vital aspect of their poetry-making (“you can’t shout society out a bus window,” somebody said).
But really, by chance you haven’t had a looksee, we leave it to the editors to explain the guts: “LUNGFULL! magazine is an annual anthology of terrible mistakes—a compilation of contemporary writing in which we print the rough drafts alongside the final versions so the reader can see the creative process as it happens.”
And in that vein (ow), your presence in the creative-process-as-it-happens is more than welcome at the annual LUNGFULL! release party and art auction, which will occur Saturday, May 14, at 6:30 in New York.
