Christopher Walken reads “The Raven”

Open Culture points us to a delightfully weird video of the eminently meme-able Christopher Walken reading Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven,” complete with storm noises, menacing ambient sound effects, and echoing raven caws.

Bonus tracks! Apparently lots of minor celebrities like to read “The Raven,” including John Astin (best known as Gomez Addams on The Addams Family) and John de Lancie (a.k.a Q of Star Trek). And of course James Earl Jones has done it too.
