Lookout Books Gets Their Poetry On
Lookout Books, the literary imprint of the Department of Creative Writing at University of North Carolina Wilmington founded by Publishing Laboratory Director Emily Louise Smith and Ecotone Editor Ben George, has already made waves (that’s funny because UNCW is near the ocean. Laugh. Laugh!) in the prose department, Finalist-ing for the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award with their first publication, Edith Pearlman’s Binocular Vision, in addition to publishing Steve Almond’s God Bless America. And, now, they offer their first poetry release with John Rybicki’s When All the World is Old.
Keep up the good work, folks!
