Calling All NorCal Poetry Lovers: The San Francisco International Poetry Festival Begins Tonight!
Poetry festival season is in full swing worldwide, and San Francisco is no exception. The San Francisco International Poetry Festival runs today through Sunday. Headliner Lawrence Ferlinghetti will introduce readings by Antoine Cassar, Agneta Falk and Jack Hirschman, among many others. Other activities include a “Literary Labyrinth,” constructed out of books, and a lecture on Beat poetry. If you’re in the area, be sure to drop by!
