‘Street Poetry’: Concrete Justice Video Calls Out MTA
Gothamist has got “the best poem about the MTA” (that’s New York’s Metro Transit Authority) … “ever.” Yeah, F*&k those “other utterly identifiable vile secretions.”
Meet Monk, a member of the Concrete Justice [Theatre of the Oppressed] theatre troupe, and a New Yorker who is pretty fed up with the MTA. In the below piece of “street poetry” he calls them out for “asinine laws” and “service not worth two shits and a dime, yet you expect me to pay $2.25 every time?” Enjoy, fellow straphangers!
