Written with a Pencil Found in Lorine Niedecker’s Front Yard

By David Trinidad David Trinidad
    the boys were out
         in force

    ness and lust

—and full moon
bouncing back
         and forth that

above the bars

Last night
    it burned

    thru old

    gray paper

Tonight it

One headlight
    or drive-in sci-fi

I’ve been
long enough

Even the moon
wears a ring

and is full
