Prayer’s End
Nature remains
faithful by
natural light,
only. Immeasurable,
invisible in the wind.
Visible when
blades
and branches bend.
The wind
speaks fluent
rain. Despite it
the rain
falls straight. And beyond it
abandoned barns
defend
abandoned
men.
