Mary Oliver has taken over the top spot on this week's contemporary best seller list, surging past Seamus Heaney, W.S. Merwin, Paul Muldoon, and Billy Collins with her latest, Swan. It's her twentieth full length collection, this one made up of prose poems and regular old poems. Also a mix of poems and prose is Sarah—Lines and Fragments, the fourth collection of poems from Julie Carr. At number 13 this week, and making its first appearance on the list, the book explores states of consciousness in a women who is mother, daughter, and writer in what Publishers Weekly called "spare songlike pages."
