The Huffington Post invites you to play Rate! That! Prodigy!

In The Huffington Post's continued domination of the phlisticle genre (that's the combination of a photo gallery and listicle, which is already a combination of list and article, for those of you keeping track at home), today they present ten literary prodigies.

Citing a quote from Fran Liebowitz in which she claimed that literary prodigies didn't exist, the Post not only manages to prove her wrong, but one-ups The New Yorker's 20 under 40 by showcasing a smattering of precocious poets published before they were 21. John Keats is there, so are both Shelleys, and of course that definition of enfant terrible, Arthur Rimbaud, who was done with writing altogether by age 21. Need to release your bitterness for their success? You can also rate each writer, on a scale of "Not Impressed" to "Wow, Impressive." How ironically you choose to read the latter end of the scale is up to you.
