The Blue Pool of Questions

This stunning volume was the winner of the 2016 Etisalat Award for Arabic Children’s Literature. In this book-length poem, we meet a mysterious man who lives his whole life with questions, then simply dives into them. He reminds us of people we love most. He is a quiet loner, isolated, yet crucial to community, and some of the images will remind you quite strikingly of our recent/ongoing worldwide sheltering in place.
