All experience levels are welcome to a discussion and creative workshop moderated by Poetry Foundation Library Coordinator Maggie Queeney. In November, we will explore personification, the device that transforms the non-human (the animal, the collective, the inanimate, the abstract) into human.

The group will explore different types and poetic uses of personification in a wide range of poems. A creative workshop, where participants will be guided through composing original verse employing personification, will conclude the session. No RSVP required.
