Poetry Is The Only Way to Talk About What Hasn’t Happened Yet


All experience levels are welcome to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary workshop in response to Open 24 Hours by Edra Soto, currently on exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.

The program features a drawing workshop led by Chicago-based artist Alberto Aguilar, a poetry workshop led by Poetry Foundation Library Coordinator Maggie Queeney, and an instrument building and soundmaking workshop led by multidisciplinary artist Dan Godston.

Presented in collaboration with Sean Ward, a New York-based artist, and Laura Shaeffer, cofounder of Compound Yellow, an experimental arts space in Oak Park, Illinois.
