Poetry & Music: maeve & quinn

Enjoy a live performance by twin sisters Maris and Bryce O’Tierney, who bring together a dynamic blend of lyric poetry, jazz, indie pop, and Irish traditional music as the duo maeve & quinn. Commissioned by the Chicago Composers Orchestra for the 2018–19 season, maeve & quinn compose and perform vocals, guitar, violin, piano, and percussion, drawing on improvisation and the strong thread of storytelling from the pioneering women in their family.
