The Voice Within Us Launch Party

Each year, Northwestern undergraduate and graduate students, working under the supervision of Poetry and Poetics Colloquium faculty, partner with Evanston Township High School and Youth & Opportunity United (Y.O.U.) to lead workshops for Evanston youth.  

After the completion of the workshops, we celebrate the accomplishments of these students by releasing a chapbook of their work, The Voice Within Us, published by Damask and Ujima Presses, and host a reading & performance of their original poetry.
