All experience levels are welcome to a discussion and creative workshop moderated by Poetry Foundation Library staff member Maggie Queeney.

Together, we will explore the form of the English sonnet, a lyrical, intricately patterned poem popularized by Shakespeare and still employed by contemporary poets. Participants will explore a wide range of English sonnets. A creative workshop, where participants will be guided through composing an original sonnet, will conclude the session.
