Help Put a Roof Over Roof Books

You like that headline? We bet you do. This just in from James Sherry of The Segue Foundation, which, if you aren't awares, presents some of the finest post-Langpo and post-50 Conceptual writing going on well, going on! In fact, Segue has had a great year, having published four titles under Roof Books in 2013: Erica Kaufman’s premier Instant Classic, the Kit Robinson/Ted Greenwald collaboration A Mammal of Style, Michael Gottlieb’s Dear All and Nada Gordon’s Vile Lilt. Sherry's highlights might even inspire your end-of-year pockets to beg their inside bills to donate to the press:

- We had record attendance at the Segue Reading Series at the Zinc Bar with 32 readings during the season.

- In addition Roof published 16 eBook titles on Amazon, with plans for e-pub books on Apple and B&N in the near future. We also plan to add many more titles as funds allow.

And so:

Given our great productivity and reduced grants from foundations and government, Roof needs your help this year. PLEASE DONATE some money to Segue Foundation. If you're in New York City on Saturdays, you can attend the Segue Reading Series every weekend. Here's the calendar--upcoming readers include Holly Melgard & Craig Dworkin (this weekend!), Marie Buck & Arlo Quint, Simone White & Lytle Shaw, and more. And recordings of readings, as ever, can be found at PennSound (dating back to 1977).
