(NOT) SHOWING UP FOR WORK

I didn't go to any poetry readings this month.
I didn't go on any poetry trips this month.
When I (barely) showed up for work this month,
I tried to run my hand over the race.

I felt horrible this month.
I read a few poems this month.
I wrote down a couple of things.
