Introducing Julie Carr

This month, Harriet welcomes the poet, publisher, and teacher Julie Carr as our third "Craft Work" writer.

Carr is the author of four books of poetry, Mead: An Epithalamion (UGA press), Equivocal (Alice James), 100 Notes on Violence (Ahsahta, winner of the Sawtooth Prize), and Sarah-Of Fragments and Lines (Coffee House, a NPS selection). Her book on late Victorian poetry is forthcoming from Dalkey Archive. She teaches English and Creative Writing at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is the co-publisher, with Tim Roberts, of Counterpath Press.

“Craft Work” features poets, translators, editors, and publishers writing about the creative work done in their respective fields. Harriet hosts a featured writer on a bimonthly basis, and periodically present live discussions between “Craft Work” writers and readers.
