Wave Subscription Sale—Act Now!
Looks like today is the last day to get a discounted rate on 2013 subscriptions at Wave Books. This is what they're offering in 2013:
The 2013 series includes a translation of Mario Santiago Papasquiaro’s long poem, Advice from 1 Disciple of Marx to 1 Heidegger Fanatic, comparable in energy and tone to Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl.” Papasquiaro is better-known as the character Ulises Lima from Roberto Bolaño’s The Savage Detectives, and this will be the first widely-available translation of Papasquiaro’s work in English. The series also includes a reader-focused compilation of writings relating to Lorine Niedecker’s poem, “Lake Superior”—essays, letters, poems, and journals from different writers and historical figures—an energetic body of diverse voices.
2013 will also include new collections You Good Thing by Dara Wier, Flemish by Caroline Knox, The Rose of Januaryby Geoffrey Nutter, as well as new collections from Geoffrey G. O’Brien, Mary Ruefle, Joshua Beckman, and Noelle Kocot.
Very, very cool. Hardcover subscriptions can be found here; paperback subscriptions here.
