Poets House and the Oakland Museum of California Team up for Powerhouse Reading

Originally Published: May 14, 2015

If you're in Oakland or surrounding areas tomorrow evening, you'll want to stop by the Oakland Museum of California to check out a reading by Cedar Sigo, Juliana Spahr, and Tanya Sarmina. We're thrilled to see the continental reach of friends at Poets House. More on the reading:

These three artists will explore the gallery as a site for creative expression, while inspiring and educating viewers about the natural world, which we often take for granted. Part of an initiative dedicated to fostering engagement in the natural sciences through poetry, this program is organized by Poets House, a national poetry library and literary center, the Oakland Public Library, and the Oakland Museum of California.

Head to the OMCA site to find out all the reading details.
