Mouth

By Rae Armantrout
1

Don’t start.

Don’t keep it up.

Let it go
but keep an eye on it.

Don’t forget to write.

Don’t forget and write
the same word twice.

2

I’ll give you something
to go on about.

On and on.

Now look.
Watch your mouth.

It goes without.
