Amy De'Ath

B. 1985

Amy De’Ath was born in Suffolk, England, and studied poetry and creative writing at the University of East Anglia and Temple University. She lived in Australia and London before moving to Vancouver, where she is a PhD student at Simon Fraser University. De’Ath is the author of the poetry collections Erec & Enide (2010), Caribou (2011), and Lower Parallel (2014). With Fred Wah, she edited the collection Toward. Some. Air (2015), and with Sarah Dowling, she curated a feature on the influence of North American poetry on English poetry for Jacket2. Her criticism has appeared widely, including in the volume After Objectivism: Reconfiguring 21st-Century Poetry and Poetics (2018).
