Donna Brook

Born in Buffalo, New York, poet Donna Brook earned a BA at the University of Michigan and an MA at Wayne State University. She is the author of several books, including A More Human Face (1999); The Journey of English (1988), a history book of the language for children; and Notes on Space/Time (1977). Brook’s honors include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, poet Robert Hershon.
