Isabela Basombrío Hoban (she/her) is a poet and multidisciplinary artist working in music, sound, and visual art. Originally from Peru and now living in Ireland, she writes in both English and Spanish. Her books include Nothing belongs to everyone (“Nada pertenece a todos,” 2022), Rain Love Death Poets (“Lluvia Amor Muerte Poetas,” 2023), and Another Type of Abbreviation ("Otro tipo de abreviatura," 2024),all published by Ediciones Vitruvio. Hoban won the 2022–2023 Premio Nuevo Ateneo Online (New Athenaeum Online Award) and received awards for her poetry from Culture Ireland and the Mayo County Council Arts Office.
