Jerry Williams
Jerry Williams’s first collection of poems, Casino of the Sun (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2003) was a finalist for the Kate Tufts Discovery Award. His second collection, Admission (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2010) received the Devil’s Kitchen Reading Award from Southern Illinois University.
Williams’s poetry and nonfiction have appeared in American Poetry Review, Tin House, Crazyhorse, Pleiades, Witness, and many other literary journals. Additionally, he has edited the anthology It’s Not You, It’s Me: The Poetry of Breakup (2010). Williams lives in New York where he is associate professor in creative writing at Marymount Manhattan College.
