Sasha Burshteyn

Sasha Burshteyn is a poet. Her work has appeared in The Yale Review, The Paris Review Daily, Copper Nickel, and other publications. She holds degrees from Amherst College and New York University, where she was a Goldwater Fellow. In 2016, she received the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. Her work has received support from the Hawthornden Foundation and National Geographic. She currently serves as Translations Editor at Four Way Review, and became a Visiting Scholar at the NYU Jordan Center in 2025. Sasha was born in Russia and raised in Brooklyn and Donbas.
