Ghost Forest

| 11:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Poetry Foundation, 61 West Superior Street, Chicago, IL 60654

Celebrate The Ghost Forest: New and Selected Poems, a retrospective collection by Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize recipient, Kimiko Hahn. Hahn will read alongside three recent Poetry contributors who have new books: Sarah Ghazal Ali (Theophanies), Mónica de la Torre (Pause the Document), and Rosalie Moffett (Making a Living). Through formal experimentation and imaginative metaphors, these four women poets texture daily life with existential mystery.

Quote: If you could hear what’s not a fault—and is a fault—
You’d hear the earth sounding war—. Unquote.
— Kimiko Hahn, Anaphora Using Wilfred Owen’s Line “If you could hear, at every jolt”

This event is part of the Poetry Foundation’s spring 2025 season, Power Lines
