Drew Lopenzina

Drew Lopenzina is the author of Red Ink: Native Americans Picking up the Pen in the Colonial Period (State University of New York Press, 2012), Through an Indian's Looking-Glass (University of Massachusetts Press, 2017), a biography of the 19th-century Pequot activist, minister, and author William Apess, and The Routledge Introduction to Native American Literature (Routledge, 2020). Lopenzina is a professor of early American and Native American literature at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
