Léon Pradeau is a poet, translator, and the founding editor of Transat', a journal of poetry and poetics in French and English. He is the author of two books of poetry, vaisseau instantané/instant shipping (les murmurations, 2024) and “This is it” (Antiphony, 2025). His writing was also featured in collective volumes such as The Relegation Reader, edited by Will Mountain Cox (Relegation, 2025).

Pradeau's poems and translations have appeared in French and American journals such as Fence, Doc(k)s, Asymptote, Cockpit, Sarka, and Mouche. His essays and book reviews can be found in Chicago Review, Études Francophones, Dalhousie French Studies, Diacritik, and other publications.
