Sue Scavo (she/her) is a poet, writer, visual artist of small [lyric] drawings, and dreamworker based in the deep woods of Maine. Scavo is the author of Buried [A Place] (Anhinga Press, 2022). Her poems have appeared in journals such as Tahoma Literary Review, Blue Heron Review, Aster(ix), Burning House Press, Literary Mama, and Panoply; and in anthologies, including Rumors, Secrets & Lies: Poems About Pregnancy, Abortion & Choice (Anhinga Press, 2022) and What Have You Lost? (Greenwillow Books, 2001).

Scavo earned an MFA in poetry from New England College and her work has been supported by the Vermont Studio Center as both a resident and a resident artist for several years. She has been the cofounder editor of deLuge Journal since 2015, and is a dreamwork teacher/practitioner.
